Update - What’s been going on in my world!

Exactly one year ago I left my corporate job. My exit went smoothly even though I had to say goodbye to so many lovely people. Then I found myself with 8 extra free hours a day for just me and myself! And figuring out future plans...

My first idea was, as some of you might know, escaping to India for more than just a few weeks. I was really looking forward to spending time exploring life, studying more yoga, hanging out at beautiful beaches and celebrating life.

But life happens! Two weeks before my flight, some family health issues came up. And then a new beautiful project opportunity appeared that I just couldn't say no… a “once in a lifetime” deal. After talking to everyone involved, I decided to at least go to India – but only for 6 weeks – until the end of the year.

In January I was back in Berlin to start the new project. It was a great opportunity for me to grow and learn about how to start a business. Very boldly, I jumped right into it and failed. I needed this experience to learn more about myself and the business world.

Without this project I probably would have never done the next step. Sometimes you just need to meet the right people at the right time. And so it was.

With a little help from someone who believed in me I received a scholarship at an American business school where I got the opportunity to learn all the skills needed to start my own business!

Mid-March 2020, at the end of the course, everything changed again. For everybody. The coronavirus made me step back, not sure if this was the right time to start a business. Once again I had to figure out what to do next.

The lockdown situation gave me the chance to search inside myself and listen to what I really wanted...and also what I wanted to give to the world. So I started again with even more ideas and to work on my business plan.

I started to deepdive into the whole topic of Employee Experience and what exactly this means today. How does our company culture change with our current situation and remote work? It's not about the fruit basket and free yoga classes anymore – we need to understand a new way of working.

I will support organisations to identify their own touchpoints that every employee has and how to make them unique and unforgettable. And we will explore what exactly is needed to be motivated and productive at work today. Let us create connection and purpose to build a company culture that matters.

And here I am now. Excited to go out and make the world a better place to work! If you would like to know more about me and how I can help your organisation or company to improve their employee experience, have a look at my website and reach out to me. Onward and upward...
